Stephen Massey - Founder & CEO

Stephen Massey has been the Chief Executive Officer of Gulfstream Financial Advisors, Inc. since the firm's inception in 1986 (www.gulfstream-group.com). Mr. Massey would be responsible for the overall supervision of the waste to energy projects working with specific teams required for each type of project.

Mr. Massey is experienced in international project management. From 2014 -2019, Mr. Massey oversaw Tractor Export’s Gabon heavy equipment maintenance project. This project involved importing a team of 30 qualified engineers, supervisors and mechanics to repair and maintain over 500 bulldozers and excavators involved in land clearing throughout the Gabonese jungle. This project also involved complete parts support and the design and implantation of digital record keeping and reporting systems of all activities for the purpose of reporting to the Gabonese government joint venture managing the agricultural activity.

Mr. Massey has served in various other operating capacities:

  • Since April 2007 until the present, Mr. Massey, as founder and CEO of Gulfstream, has been the Chief Executive Officer and controlling shareholder of TractorExport.com LLC (www.TractorExport.com).

  • Since 2008 until the present, Mr. Massey has served as co-founder and President of MBROS Real Estate Services.

  • Since 2016 until the present, Mr. Massey has served as co-founder and CEO of Senyia LLC (www.senyia.com) a nutritional supplement company specializing in organic Moringa products.

  • From 2004 until 2007, Mr. Massey served as CEO of AutoChina Ltd which developed and marketed several lines of automotive and utility vehicles for sale in the South African market.

  • From 1999 through 2001, Mr. Massey served as President of NetRail, Inc, a tier one internet backbone infrastructure company.

  • From 1996 through 1998, as a Gulfstream project, Mr. Massey started and managed Riverside Capital's Alternative Fixed Asset Fund focused on the acquisition and management of a $250M tax lien certificate fund.

  • From 1982-1985, Mr. Massey served as Vice President of the Codina Group, a South Florida based Real Estate Development Company.

  • From 1983 to 1986, while affiliated with the Codina Group, Mr. Massey served as president of startup TelAir Network, Inc an early stage mobile communication company using SMR and cellular communication systems.

  • Prior to serving as Vice President of the Codina Group., Mr. Massey was a CPA with Ernst & Ernst (now Ernst & Young) and practiced corporate/tax transactional law with Greenberg Traurig an international law firm.

  • Mr. Massey holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Science from Duke University majoring in Management Science and graduating Magma Cum Laude, a JD degree from the University Of Florida School Of Law, graduating in the top 10% of his class and an LLM (Taxation) from the University Of Florida School Of Law, graduating first in his class. Mr. Massey is a licensed attorney and a member of the Florida Bar.

Erika Velasco has carried out the following studies:

  • Bachelor in Accounting at Sergio Arboleda University, Bogotá, Colombia

Highly experienced in all facets of accounting, finance, tax, business administration, customer service, and reporting, in high profile companies. Deep knowledge of the principles of US GAAP and IFRS accounting. She is currently in the process of becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Florida.

She has participated and supervised tax advisory projects, in matters of consulting, compliance and planning in different private companies. The professional works carried out include national and international strategic tax planning, corporate restructuring, due diligence, tax consulting, compliance and business training.
